Hi again.
This year's fathers and sons camp out was great. My friend, Alan, camped with Dad and I because his dad was gone. The weather was great, maybe too great. It was at least 90 degrees! When we finally arrived and unpacked everything we play some football. We first threw the football around just for fun. Which to let you all know, I suck at throwing and catching. Anyway, after that someone wanted to play the real thing, well almost real. We played one-hand-touch-football. The BEST part of the game is when I actually got the ball on a long running pass and scored! It was great.
That night there was a campfire and we all sang with of course, Brother Stanger singing the loudest and a little off key. It was still fun. That night Alan and I were chosen to be captains for capture the flag. It was fun. Things were going great, except that all the kids were screaming and being loud, which caused in a sudden game over to our fun when the camp director stopped us from playing. I was glad; I could finally go to bed.
The next day I woke up early for breakfast while Dad went for a run. He said he ran five miles with a pulled muscle! Later on in the day I wanted to hang out with the younger kids. I found Joseph Brandt who is almost nine years old. We played and talked for a long time. I had a great time. He told me his favorite color; black. We had a great time! I was sad when we parted, he hugged me and said good bye. Hopefully he'll remember my name tomorrow at church when I ask for it. I asked him if he would remember and he said he could remember the "than" in Nathan. I said that was good enough.

Cool nate! Sounds like you had fun.
I'm glad you got a blog too. Too bad you won't be able to add to it during your mission!
Nater Pertater! It did sound like you had a fun time. It also sounds like you are one of those older cooler guys that little kids look up to. I'm glad you had fun. I miss you tons!
